APSGB - UK Pharm Sci meeting 2017.
The SPaeDD consortium co-chaired and organised a conference session at the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences ‘UK Pharm Sci conference’ on the 6th September 2017. The session was entitled ‘Drug Delivery: Innovation through Cooperation’. The structure of the session was an overview by Dr Alastair Coupe, Pfizer on the SPaeDD objectives and work stream activity summary; followed by an in depth technical dissemination of WS2 by Dr Jonathan Brown, BMS; followed by a round table discussion of the challenges and benefits of academic-industrial collaboration.
The session provided an excellent opportunity to relay the activities of the program to peers working in the field of paediatric drug development and receive feedback and suggestions of further avenues to explore.
